Ten-Year Economic Outlook for Marrakesh until 2020 -Tarot Prediction
Since I’m a banker in Marrakesh, working on learning the Tarot better, I’m making a series of readings on external events which I will later check back on for accuracy.
Here I’ve done a reading on the ten-year economic outlook for Marrakesh, 2008-2020.
I chose a pyramid spread from the book Power Tarot, by Trish MacGregor, and Phyllis Vega. I like this book because it has a real variety of useful spreads that seem to work well.
Card One: Surrounding Influences (8 of Pentacles)
Painstaking work continues to produce excellent results. Represents the hard work and practical ideas of Marrakesh’s artisans.
Card Two: More Surrounding Influences (The Tower)
A lot of small artisans are losing their livelihoods right now. The Tower represents quick and explosive dramatic upheavals. Changes are crashing into the artisans’ lives out of nowhere, leaving them adrift, and in transition for a period of time.
Card Three: Immediate Future, 1-2 years out (Queen of Swords)
Over the next two years, the artisans will receive new insight about what needs to be done. They will be able to figure out what to do to cut through extraneous information, and get to the heart of the matter.
Card Four: More About the Immediate Future, 1-2 years out (Ace of Pentacles)
A seed of new productivity will be planted during the next two years. Positive rewards will be reaped for hard work, bringing achievement, prosperity, and success. Positive financial changes are on the way.
Card Five: Long-Term Future, 10-12 years out (3 of Swords)
Growth will not continue as planned. Sometime between five and ten years from now, there will be a severe economic setback. Something will be amiss. A “curve ball” will hit while everyone is looking the other way. (Perhaps some world event will cause a dramatic decline in tourism for a time?) It’s also possible that people in Marrakesh at this future time might be considering hurting someone else (according to the cards). People in Marrakesh will need to listen to their inner voices in order to locate the problem.
Card Six: More About the Long-Term Future, 10-10 years out (The Hermit)
During a period of self-reflection, people will be unable to commit themselves. There will be some disappointment. There will be a “turning away” from material things to focus on the inner world. There will be a period of self-imposed solitude and reflection. (Perhaps there will be less concern about money from tourism for a time.)
Card Seven: The Outcome, in 10-12 years (Queen of Cups)
People in Marrakesh will trust their intuition and feelings. The outcome in 10-12 years will be kindness, and compassionate nurturing of others. This reborn feeling will attract more people and tourists to Marrakesh again.
