Physics of the “Tunnel of Light” Explained
I have been thinking for several years about the “tunnel of light” that we all seem to pass through when we die. I think I finally have the explanation. I believe the tunnel of light is caused by the process of acceleration from our slow vibrational speed here on Earth, to the extremely high vibrational speed that exists in the afterworld (which is probably light speed).
Here is how I came to this conclusion:
I’ve read a lot about how when we are on a higher plane, our vibrations are greatly accelerated, and when we are on the Earth, how our vibrations are greatly slowed. I have also read a lot about how, when we are going about our daily activities, that other beings, and planes of existence are located in the same space we are, but at different vibrational speeds.
For anyone familiar with Seth‘s books (Seth being the entity who was channeled by Jane Roberts), he talks about how our thoughts actually become manifested in reality. I recommend The Nature of Personal Reality. Some of these ideas are very similar to those presented in the physics book The Dancing Wu Li Masters, by Gary Zukov. Both books present the world of subatomic physics and show how matter coalesces out of our thoughts.
Quoting Zukov, “The world we ’see’ may seem solid and predictable, but at bottom, we are entitled to wonder whether ‘matter’ even exists at all in any permanent way, or is just a momentary meeting of forces that we call ‘matter’ as a convenience. Interestingly enough, this echoes some things said centuries ago by the Buddha and other eastern philosophers about the fundamental nature of reality.”
Einstein’s theory says that motion is shared between space and time. All objects are moving forward in time. But when an object accelerates, its motion through time slows down.
Then, last year when I was reading Brian Greene’s book, The Elegant Universe, I was thinking a lot about the theory of relativity. A few basic ideas kept coming back to me, which, in my mind, were dovetailing with the metaphysical ideas expressed in the paragraph above.
First, matter and energy are the same thing, but mass is basically energy that has been greatly slowed down, and stored. An example of this potential energy is seen through the atom bomb.
After thinking about all these pieces for years, a dream a few days ago synthesized it all for me, and I felt I suddenly understood. In summation, when we die, what appears to be a tunnel of light is probably everything rushing past us as our ethereal bodies speed up to light speed vibration. (Conversely, at birth, we probably pass into a “dark” tunnel, slowing way down to Earth-speed vibration.)
