“Daily Draw” Tarot Card Reading is Like an “Energy” Weather Report for That Day
After getting a bit fed up with my Tarot cards toward the end of 2007, after a week’s break, I continued doing a daily reading. I changed my procedure slightly this year by choosing two cards instead of one, and viewing them as a pair.
It recently occurred to me, as I was doing my daily morning reading, that checking the “Tarot Report” for the energy around you for that day is very much like checking the daily weather report. When viewing a pair of cards, generally the first one shows the energy about you for the day, and the second card suggests how you might feel, or how you should think of reacting to the energy events of the day.
Each day, I get up at 5:15 AM. I have a small desk in my dressing room, where I also have my morning coffee. This is where I am now well-organized to do my daily draw readings.
In my readings, each morning, I note the results of the day before; about whether or not they seemed to fit. I now rate each day (on the following morning) as a yes, no, or maybe. Then I do a two-card daily draw for that day.
At the end of each month I make totals of all the yeses, nos, and maybes. I also total up the number of Wands, Cups, Pentacles, and Swords to see if I can find any trends. Soon, I will be reporting monthly on my blog about how things worked out for a given month.
I’m still in the process of continuing my experiment on the accuracy of Tarot cards on a daily draw basis.
