More Recent UFO Sightings in Morocco

Searching the internet, I found that UFO’s continue to be seen in Morocco, but there are not that many sightings confirmed by a lot of people. So I will just comment here on sightings that seem to have been seen by many.

1954: SAUCER FLIES ACROSS THE SAHARA DESERT

On Saturday, September 15, 1954, at around 7 p.m., M. Guitta steered his Renault into a roadside gas (petrol in UK–J.T.) station. It was early evening, and the last glimmers of sunset illuminated Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Guitta had been in Rabat all day, and now he wanted to get home to Casablanca before midnight.

After filling the gas tank, Guitta drove back onto the coastal highway. He drove past the spacious, now- deserted beaches of Ech Chiana and Skhirate. The Renault’s tires rumbled as he went over the Wadi Charrat bridge. Then he saw the lights of Bouznika passing by on his left.

At 8:15 p.m., Guitta was speeding down that long vacant stretch of highway between Bouznika and the Wadi Mafifik bridge. “Suddenly, he saw in his rear mirror something gray, diving down toward him. He gripped the steering wheel more tightly and ducked instinctively, and a few seconds later, the gray thing passed him on the left at ground level and at terrific speed.”

“The passing of the object was followed by a violent gust of cold air, which, despite M. Guitta’s effort to hold the wheel steady, carried a strong suction and pulled the car to the left.”

Brakes squealed as the Renault skidded across the centerline. The Renault came to a bumpy stop on the highway’s sandy shoulder.

“There was no noise. M. Guitta caught a seconds-long glimpse of the object disappearing on the (southeast) horizon in front of him. It looked like a small gray disk.”

Guitta stumbled out of the driver’s side door, surprised to find the weird chill still in the air. Then he grimaced at the sight of the Renault’s flat tires and got out the jack.

Fifteen minutes later, and 3,200 kilometers (2,000 miles) to the south, a group of emigres (settlers–J.T.) gathered for cocktails in the courtyard of the Residency in Danane, a town in French West Africa ( now the northwest corner of the modern Ivory Coast–J.T.) Among the partygoers were the Danane police chief and his wife, Dr. Roux of the local medical station, and Father Meybard of the Lyin Mission,

“A few hundred yards away were Dr. Mariani, head of the Trypanosomiasis Section No. 13, M. Sory Diallo, agent for the , a police assistant, and a Mme. Bois.”

“A luminous red object, either circular or elliptical, according to different witnesses, was sighted in the sky over Danane at 8:30 p.m….The object remained motionless until 9:05 p.m., its silhouette shining out against the black but clear evening sky. It then disappeared over the horizon at high speed. The witnesses were not able to judge its altitude, but it seems to have been low, since the object’s movements of only a few hundred yards changed the circular silhouette into an ellipse.”

“A little later, an identical sighting was made from Soubre, 150 miles (250 kilometers) northwest of Abidjan, where an object arrived at high speed over the horizon, stood still for several minutes over the town, and then disappeared into the zenith, diminishing swiftly in size and brilliance in a cloudless sky. Here, too, the witnesses were numerous and of high standing, including the head administrator of Soubre.”

Was the UFO seen over Danane and Subre the same disc that had buzzed M. Guitta’s car in Morocco? If it was, and if it traveled from Morocco to the Ivory Coast in only fifteen minutes, then the saucer’s flight speed must have been an incredible 8,000 miles per hour (12,800 kilometers per hour)!

“Another document later came to light revealing that that a very similar UFO was sighted in Morocco from many locations about 3 to 4 hours later, or 0100 to 0200 hours local time on September 19. The document was from the American embassy in Rabat, Morocco to the U.S. State Department, dated September 25, 1976–”Subject: Request for Info. Unidentified Flying Objects.” It recounted that the Moroccan police had received numerous reports of an object generally flying parallel to the Atlantic coast at low altitude. It had a silvery luminous circular or tubular shape and was giving off intermittent trails of bright sparks and fragments. It made no noise. One of the embassy’s unnamed briefers said he had seen it himself, and that it appeared to be traveling slowly like an aircraft preparing to land. At first it appeared disc-shaped, but took on a tubular appearance as it got closer.

Secretary of State Henry Kissinger responded ten days later and took the official U.S. policy line on UFOs. Kissinger claimed the Condon Committee report had shown that all UFOs could be attributed to natural causes and no further study was warranted. Kissinger said people had probably seen a meteor or a decaying satellite part for which there was no re-entry record. (Fawcett & Greenwood, 86-87)”

The object was described as huge (more than 120 meters in diameter, or about 150 feet), reddish-orange, and horseshoe or crescent shaped. After extensive descriptions of what happened in both Russia and South America, toward the end of the article, unconfirmed sightings in Morocco of the same object were mentioned:

“ But unverified reports claim a UFO was seen that night in Morocco where weather was clear. Calculations show that the Kosmos-EW and associated material would have been sunlit for the entire time interval in question; it would have risen in the west at 22:16 UT (Morocco is exactly on Universal Time, so that would have been 10:16 P.M.), drifted to the northwest and reached halfway to zenith by22:30, then moved generally horizontally until it was due north at 22:50. By then the range would have been more than 8000 miles and the cloud may have dispersed fully.”

GIANT V-SHAPED UFO SEEN BY FAMILY IN MOROCCO

On August 8, 1999, a man and his two children–Felicia, age 4, and Charles, age 8– were walking along the sandy beach at Temara, just south of Flap in Morocco.

Just after 9 p.m., Felicia pointed out to sea and yelled, “There!”

“A large object in the form of a V and with bright lights passed directly over us,” the adult witness reported. “We observed it– Felicia, Charles and myself–for about four to five seconds. It flew all the way up the beach in that length of time. It was above our heads at a height very difficult to evaluate, perhaps 500 meters up to 5,000 meters. Or more! Its scale (size) was about 100 to 500 meters, by my estimate, but this seems very difficult to evaluate. It disappeared from our field of view very rapidly.” (Merci beaucoup a Thierry Garnier de France OVNI pour ces nouvelles.) And finally, I leave you with what I feel is a completely FALSE video someone has posted on YouTube of a UFO in Marrakesh (my home town).

The video shows street scenes in Marrakesh with a black UFO shown during the daytime. Then, he keeps showing the Koutoubia Mosque with a stork perched on top (is this supposed to look like a UFO shape to people who have never seen storks? That’s the only reason I can guess he’s showing this.) I think this is completely doctored. Another reason this video doesn’t impress me is that there aren’t even any people on the streets in the middle of the day, when the streets would normally be completely congested with people. If this had happened, you can bet everyone in town– and his brother–would have been talking about it!

Me: “OK, John, I still find this difficult to believe, as I think there must be a scientific explanation, but I’ll take your word for it that you made an honest posting here of what you saw.”

As you can see here, this object is old news. The video is the most recent ufo-type (drone) pic of mine. I can film these objects almost at random these days. You have to understand what Chemtrails are. Marrakesh and Maroc experience Chemtrails. I/ve seen them. Comment from a Scientist (Biologist) friend of mine after viewing this video:  

“This “UFO” looks very much like an insect on the lens- especially if the owner of the camera is getting many of the objects recorded, yet cannot see anything by the naked eye…..
Maybe dust mites than can live around the camera or lens, and they move around!”
