Yesterday, I came across a really interesting website, where Jack Houck, an aeronautical engineer, discusses his research into psychokinesis, or mind over matter. He says that “metal is a very useful feedback mechanism” which most people 85 percent of people are able to bend at their first “PK Party.” Steel rods with a diameter of one centimeter can be easily bent into 270° twists even by small ladies, Jack says.
I like the detail Jack uses, and the fact that he is an engineer, he describes the experiences more scientifically than I’ve seen elsewhere.
Please check out his extremely interesting article at:

Dear Margot,
As an avid reader of your website, and someone with a great interest in spoon and fork bending, I am so pleased you steered me to this article.
Actually, I have some experience in this matter, and you can read about my experience on author Michael Prescott’s blog at :

I would love to meet you! I also live in Marrakesh, and was thinking of organizing something like this myself if I can find a few friends who would be interested. I did this once in a group years ago, and have saved my bent pieces of silverware. I think it would be fun to try again in a group.

Dear Mary,
I’m not sure if I’m ready to meet my readers in person yet…….but I would be very interested in this.
